Gary also thanked Mary, AA7RT, on behalf of the club, for getting the web site (sdxa.org) on line. Although it is still a work in progress, it is presently a mature site.

K7OX announced:
• The Spokane Hamfest will be October 12 at the brand-new University High School.
• In accordance with the club constitution, KH6GMP and CT1EOS will be named as honorary SDXA members.
• Everyone was asked to prepare for the CQ World Wide DX Contest over the October 25—27 weekend.
• Minutes of the meetings are now on the web site, plus they will be sent E-mail to members and those requesting the mailings.

Treasurer AA7RT announced we had a balance of $114.70 on hand prior to the meeting.

K7OX reminded everyone that we still need a club logo, and that club badges ordered at the meeting will be available at the Hamfest

Following the meeting Randy, K7TQ, provided a very detailed, hands-on program on computer propagation predictions. The free-ware/share-ware programs demonstrated included W6EL Prop, Prop View, and VOA Cap. It was very enlightening for both old-timers and new comers alike.
