The report from the nominating committee, N5AR and K7AWB, was that all officers, except for WA7LT, were willing to remain in office for another term. They further reported that W6AEA accepted the challenge as candidate for the vacated office of Secretary. No nominations were presented from the floor. Thus, by acclamation, the officers for 2003 are:
• K7OX, Gary Elliott, President
• K7TQ, Randy Foltz, Vice President
• AA4RT, Mary Moore, Treasurer
• W6AEA, George Tuncil, Secretary

All submitted club logos (about 8 or 10) were displayed for review. At the January meeting these will be reduced to two, and the final selection will take place at the February meeting.

K7OX announced:
• The December meeting will be a dinner meeting at the China Best on West Riverside with a choice of American style meat. (Details will be in the meeting announcement.) This will take place on December 5th at 7:00 PM.
• Our new club call is KD7SWV, but we are awaiting a vanity call, hopefully K7SDX.
• N7VBW continues to do a fine job as the packet control operator.

There was no new Treasurer’s report.

Under new business:
• It was decided the January meeting would be on Thursday, January 2.
• W3AS reported K7OX had the high CW Sweepstakes QSO’s per hour at 78.
• K7AWB reported Rohn towers may become scarce as recently the stock was at 10 cents.

Following the meeting Randy, K7TQ, arranged for three of the members who have DXCC Honor Roll plaques (N5AR, K7OX, and WA7LT) to present some of their operating and QSLing tips. It was assumed it was enjoyed by all as there were many questions from those present.

C. LaMar Ray (WA7LT), Secretary
