Worked Europe Award

I. Objective: For SDXA members to make contact with 30 or 35 European entities made during the ten PNW DX Competition contests.

II. The Ten PNW DX Contests:

1. CQ WW RTTY, September
2. CQ WW SSB, October
3. CQ WW CW, November
4. ARRL RTTY Roundup, January
5. CQ WPX RTTY, February
6. ARRL DX CW, February
7. ARRL DX SSB, March
8. CQ WPX SSB, March
9. CQ WPX CW, May
10. IARU, July

III. Bands: Bands are the ones allowed in each particular contest.  All have 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 m.  Some include 160 m so check the rules for each contest.

IV. Modes: SSB, CW, RTTY or any combination of the three.

V. Entry Categories:

1. For Million Point members – work 35 European DXCC entities over the course of the 10 PNW Contest season
2. For everyone else – work 30 European DXCC entities over the course of the 10 PNW Contest season

V. Log Submission: Simply submit a list with the date, time, mode, and call sign of the station you worked to [email protected]. (or a screen shot from your logging programming)

VI. Awards: All who accomplish this award will receive a certificate at the annual awards banquet.

The SDXA supported a recent DX’pedition to Glorioso with Marek operating as FT4GL. Many of the club members were able to work Marek.

Marek was kind enough to send some pictures of him holding printouts of the SDXA logo and wanted to share them with you.

The Spokane DX Association had their annual picnic at the home of Del and Diane Morissette. Their son Peter cook incredible ribs and pulled pork. A great time of connecting was had by all.
