WHAT YOU MISSED AT THE AUGUST, 2010 MEETING

Geoff W0CG/ PJ2DX talked about being one of the referees at the recent WRTC 2010 contest held in Russia. This was a VERY interesting presentation including video of the two Russian operators he refereed.

SUMMER PICNIC A GREAT SUCCESS

The annual Summer picnic was on July 18 (Sunday) at the home of President Kirk K7EKM and Pat — 13704 E. Heroy Avenue in the Spokane Valley.

Many topics were discussed including the recent trip to Russia by Geoff W0CG/PJ2DX as a referee to the IARU contest as well as the hanging wire from Kirk’s cubical quad. The main treat was the smoked pulled pork, coleslaw and baked beans.
