BETSY ASHLEMAN N7WRQ, SPOKANE HAMFEST CHAIR, RECEIVES PLAQUE HONORING HER TEN YEARS OF SERVICE.
The Spokane hamfest is held every September at University High School on 32nd Avenue in the City of Spokane Valley. The Spokane DX Association has been a part of this endeavor for many years, contributing seed money and personnel. The plaque and flowers were presented to Betsy acknowledging her contributions to the Hamfest by Wilse WX7P and Lamar WA7LT on behalf of several ham groups including the Monday Breakfast Group which includes many SDXA members.

Both SDXA members and non-members meet on Monday mornings at the Rosauer’s Grocery Store restaurant at the N Division Y for exchanging the latest dx, antennas, weather, aches and pains, and contesting results.
