Most of these awards are given out at the annual SDXA Awards Banquet by the organization in December. Some awards may be given by other organizations to our members too. Some awards are sponsored by us in third party contests.<\/p>\n
This award is for recognition of a SDXA member who has gone above and beyond for the club and\/or it\u2019s members. It is not to be an award for operating and doing well in contests or rare DX, etc. It likely will not be handed out every year. Club members are encouraged to nominate a member when they see someone going above and beyond. Nominations can be done by letting any of the officers know, giving justification (simple is fine) why the member is deserving.<\/p>\n
