You say that you should put your antenna as high as possible?<br \/>\nThat is not necessarily true.  It depends on where you want to work into.<br \/>\nLamar will show a Potomic Valley Radio Club video from a recent seminar and<br \/>\nhis own presentation on the correct height for your application. Motion to accept the<br \/>\nminutes as corrected (motion\/second\/carried)  There was one error (LaMar was<br \/>\nat the meeting in March and was inadvertently left off of the list\u00e2\u20ac\u201dSorry<br \/>\nLaMar)<\/p>\n<p>Treasurer\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Report: LaMar presented the treasurer=s report and it was<br \/>\nreceived as presented.  We have $808.46 and have sent in our $400.00 seed<br \/>\nmoney to the Hamfest.<\/p>\n<p>We had the introduction and a few words from everyone present.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a CQ Magazine\u00e2\u20ac\u201dWPX Contest (CW only) the last week end in May.<\/p>\n<p>Our Web Page is featuring Wayne WA1PMA at this time.  Steve is always<br \/>\nlooking for new pictures to feature on the Web Page, so if you have anything<br \/>\nyou would like to share, please send them to Steve (K7AWB).<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, Steve and other officers will meet with officers of the KARS group<br \/>\nfrom Idaho for the possibility of joining personnel for Field Day.<\/p>\n<p>No up-date, at this time, on the Hamfest.  David (AC7MV) and Mary Beth<br \/>\n(KC7QGV) will have raffle tickets for the Hamfest raffle available for<br \/>\npurchase.  This is another way that we can all provide support for the<br \/>\nHamfest.<\/p>\n<p>There is no major contest for this month.<\/p>\n<p>Gary (K7OX) won the 2005 Salmon Run Contest.  Yeah! Gary!!  He took top<br \/>\nhonors including the highest score in the state for a non-club entry with<br \/>\n170,154 points.  Thus he wins the SDXA Plaque.  The plaque was for the<br \/>\nhighest score in the mixed (CW &#038; SSB)), low power, single operator category,<br \/>\nin the EWA Section.<\/p>\n<p>George (W6AEA) made 2nd highest score from Spokane County with 18,600 points<br \/>\nin the same category as Gary.  Yeah!
