Visitors KD7OCT (Extra), Loren, and KD7RHR, Nathan, were welcomed.  An around-the-room introduction, plus an attendance sign-in list of those present, started the activities.  There were 20 attendees, including the 2 visitors and 4 new members, for this meeting. Congratulations Bill!  Also, many thanks to Gary for helping gather the application and submittal information together!<\/p>\n<p>Gary also thanked Mary, AA7RT, on behalf of the club, for getting the web site (sdxa.org) on line.  Although it is still a work in progress, it is presently a mature site.<\/p>\n<p>K7OX announced:<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tThe Spokane Hamfest will be October 12 at the brand-new University High School.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tIn accordance with the club constitution, KH6GMP and CT1EOS will be named as honorary SDXA members.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tEveryone was asked to prepare for the CQ World Wide DX Contest over the October 25\u00e2\u20ac\u201d27 weekend.<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tMinutes of the meetings are now on the web site, plus they will be sent E-mail to members and those requesting the mailings.<\/p>\n<p>Treasurer AA7RT announced we had a balance of $114.70 on hand prior to the meeting.<\/p>\n<p>K7OX reminded everyone that we still need a club logo, and that club badges ordered at the meeting will be available at the Hamfest<\/p>\n<p>Following the meeting Randy, K7TQ, provided a very detailed, hands-on program on computer propagation predictions.  The free-ware\/share-ware programs demonstrated included W6EL Prop, Prop View, and VOA Cap.  It was very enlightening for both old-timers and new comers alike.<\/p>\n<p>C.
