The Spokane DX Association (SDXA) was added to the roatation in 2007. The privilege of hosting the 54th annual DX Convention rests with the Spokane DX Association.<\/p>\n<p>The convention will be held the weekend of August 7-9, 2009 in Spokane, WA at the Mirabeau Park Hotel and Convention Center.\n<\/p>\n<p>The Pacific Northwest DX Convention normally has an attendance of 150 to 180 DXers\/Contesters and we are looking forward to a very interesting and entertaining three day Ham Radio event.\n<\/p>\n<p>This year we have sponsorship from SteppIR, Icom, and Yaesu.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n<center><strong><font color=red>Just Added >>><a href=\"http:\/\/dxconvention.org\/?page_id=362\">Banquet Speaker Announcement<\/a>< < Click Here<\/font><\/font><\/strong><\/center><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>This year Yaesu will have an FT-2000 on display. We have arranged with the Mireabueau to have a vertical antenna connected to the FT-2000 for you to give a listen during the Hospitality Room after the Saturday Banquet.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Saturday 4\/18\/09<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The registration desk will open at 8 am. Raffle tickets are on sale throughout the day. You must attend the convention to by a ticket, but do not have to be present to win. Prizes for the raffle have been donated by SteppIR, Icom, and Yaseu.<\/p>\n<p>The YL Tour to sites of interest in the Spokane Valley includes WHATEVER. Details to follow. Don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t be left out of the fun!<\/p>\n<p>DX and Technical Presentations including some fascinating surprise speakers and topics.
