CQ WORLD-WIDE WPX CW CONTEST RESULTS

Object: The object of the contest is for amateurs around the world to contact as many amateurs in other parts of the world as possible during the contest period. Bands: The 1.8, 3.5, 7, 14, 21, and 28 MHz bands may be used. No WARC bands allowed. Observance of established band plans is strongly
encouraged.

In the club competition, The SDXA took 32nd place out of 48 in the USA with 1,283,271 points. All USA clubs compete equally; there are no club divisions as in the ARRL.

Although the club competition score is the combination from both the CW and SSB WPX contests, no one from the club entered the CW portion. Thus, in the club competition, The SDXA took 119th place out of 134 internationally with 352,398 points, all from the SSB contest. All clubs compete equally; there are no club divisions as in the ARRL.

Gary K7OX entered the Single Operator, High Power, Single Band category on 40 meters and scored 35,595 points from 166 QSOs.

The SDXA took 77th place out of 109 in the Worldwide listings in the club competition where the scores of both the cw and phone contests were combined. We had 2,034,747 points. All clubs compete equally; there are no club divisions as in the ARRL.

Gary K7OX took 1st on 40 meters in the Single Operator, High Power, Single Band category in the 7th call area. He had 19,201 points from 105 QSOs. He was 9th on 40 meters in the USA.
